Mode of Action
VBt® protects crops by producing crystalline proteins (Cry proteins) containing δ-endotoxins. When ingested by susceptible larvae, these proteins are activated in the alkaline midgut, disrupting the gut lining and causing feeding cessation. This halts larval growth and development, resulting in effective pest control.
